I have not found any on this site and I do not see any projects in the work. Is there a way to use an existing node type for this type of function?

Sep 27, 2009 · Yes, but all in good time. I have no need of a Drupal 7 version of the module at this time, so it's not high on my list of priorities. If there's anyone out there interested in co-maintaining this module and managing the 7.x branch, please speak up here.
