Jan 27, 2011 · There is a problem with ctxcat indexes where the optimizer may choose functional invocation, but functional invocation is not supported with ctxcat, only with context. Other than switching to a context index, about all you can do is try to rewrite your query to influence the optimzier to not choose functional invocation.
