    Aug 19, 2012 · Does Windows XP 64 support the play of Blu Ray discs? Any DVD player software I use works for regular DVDs in my Blu Ray drive; but Blu Ray discs don't seem to function. However on Windows 7 64 they work fine.

I also read that even installing PowerDVD or something similar will only allow playback in that particular program but wont give Windows on the whole proper blu-ray support.
