Dec 18, 2008 · Well, after working with this again today the best I can do so far is set the router to WPA2-Personal [TKIP+AES] and then on the AP I have to use the AP Client Mode, let the router search for the network, and when asked to supply the WPA pre-shared key I select AES and type in the key.

May 03, 2006 · I have a Powerbook with OS 10.4.6 and LinkSys WAP54G Wireless Access Point with the latest firmware. If I select WPA - Personal with TKIP encryption everything works great, but if I select AES encryption I cannot connect. If I switch to WPA2 - Personal the "Only" choice for encryption is AES and the setting will not work with the Powerbook either.

Oct 17, 2017 · Thanks chadster. Do you work for Linksys? It should just be a software fix. It's a key management and setup protocol issue and I can't think of anyone who would put that in hardware, unlike the actual encyption which almost certainly uses hardware support.

Oct 10, 2011 · However our wireless setup has changed to start using WPA2-PSK with AES. The WAP54G has been configured correctly but does simply does not connect to the wireless at all. Just re-flashed with build 14896 and reconfigured from default, but there's no wireless activity at all. It just sits there and doesn't appear to want to connect.
