Bonjour, Je n'y connaissait rien en modem routeur avant il y a une heure mais de toute evidence j'aurais du acheter un linksys... Bref je voudrait savoir si il y a une possibilité avec mon routeur netgear de connecter le routeur via wifi à une livebox plutot que par rj45. fonctionnalitée qui soit dit en passant me semblait plutot basique.

Bonjour. je possède un routeur netgear wgt624 j'aimerai savoir si je peux m'en servir comme point d'accès wifi. Je m'explique : ma box est au rez de chaussée, à l'étage je n'ai pas de wifi car c'est une vielle maison avec des murs très épais.

Re: wgt624 v3 & PPTP VPN. Windows vpn uses GRE protocol that the router does not support. You can try using the DMZ, even though GRE is not port based, some have said that has worked for them. Other than that, it is not supported.

Re: (German) HowTo on setting up WGT624 as client/repeater/bridge. The standard WGT624 does not support any of the modes that you refer to. I don’t read German, but it looks to me like you suggest installing a non-Netgear version of firmware, which would invalidate the warranty and would have no support from Netgear.
