May 18, 2011 · Support or no support from Microsoft, you have to understand that you cannot boot natively to technologies outside the IDE native drivers in Hyper-V. That does not mean that the VHD file cannot be located on an Infiniband source which is available to the parent(s).

The second card should work as a native Infiniband 40G adapter with IPoIB enabled, talking to Infiniband switch on the other end. Now, I am installing VMware ESXi 6, which has embedded IB drivers, but they support Ethernet mode only, so I have four Ethernet ports.
