I couldn't find an official support statement for it, which isn't particularly surprising since it is still early in the RC cycle. 2008r2 is 64bit only, so will not work in Virtual PC The same goes for Virtual Server. If you want to run virtual machines on a desktop, you could install 2008r2 on the desktop and then use hyper-v, or you could use virtualbox or vmware

Is anyone aware if Windows Server 2008 32-bit will become a supported client OS for Windows Virtual PC or whether Virtual PC 2007 will have another service pack which allows it to run on Windows 7.
