Luckily, you can get the MOV recognized by Sony Vegas Pro easily. What you need is only a common video converter that can convert MOV to Sony Vegas compatible WMV or MPG files.

Apr 14, 2010 · So before I was able to import my files to Sony Vegas. But now I tried importing files again and it failed. The thing is that I had previously used the exact same file in a montage edited with the same sony vegas 8. It even does this with windows movie maker but I don't really care about windows movie maker. Oh and the files are fine when you just open them up normally.
