Based on what you say, Rogers is providing IPv6, but the router is not passing it. Rogers uses something called DHCPv6-PD, which not only provides an IPv6 address for the router, but also the prefix for your LAN. So, either your router doesn't support DHCPv6-PD or it's misconfigured.

Tech support kept saying that my router settings are ok. I noticed my default gateway ip address changed after I factory reset. It changed from ipv4(192...) to ipv6 (fe:80:*****). Sometimes it would display both ip's. The Fix: I looked up the router gateway setting in the rogers Hitron network management.

The Fido modem has still NOT been certified for IPV6 on the Rogers network. The last I heard it was still undergoing testing, but there is NO ETA on when Fido users will get IPV6. My guess is they will probably focus on the Rogers modems before tackling Fido. And currently the Rogers CODA-4582 has a few issues, including incompatibility with IPV6.

Jul 30, 2013 · Rogers does have 6to4 tunneling, as well as 6RD tunneling. But from some of the tests I ran on test-ipv6.com, it wouldn't pass all the tests with 6to4.
