If you need support for Windows 8 and/or for IE 10 on Windows 7 you must go with UFT 11.52. HP is reluctant to provide a Windows 8 update for QTP 11.0. QTP 11.0 does support Windows 7 with IE9 and lesser IE versions, for 32 and 64 bit, with appropriate QTP patches.

Aug 07, 2014 · Can any one help me with the information / prerequisites needs to be done for QTP 10 instalation on this environment. While installing QTP 10 on this env it is displaying windows installer 3.1 as the prerequisite but when googled came to know that it is not supported for windows server 2008 R2.

Dec 07, 2009 · The table below shows the versions supported for the Flex plugins for QTP. QTP10 and 1E6 also theoritically seem to work. But it is not a supported combination from Adobe as we have not done extensive testing on this combination.

earlier , These were working fine properly ,but then Since I wanted to test on IE 7 , I uninstalled IE 8 , then when I tried to install IE 8 and ran again, it gives me problem. I have uninstalled and installed QTP 10 also , but still no luck . Help me guys

QTP 10 supports Vista, so this also means that IE 8 on Vista is supported. However not everything looks rosy here because when I try to spy on IE8 in Vista....this is what I see.. QTP recognizes the browser as a Window object instead of Browser .

IE6, but does not work with QTP + IE7. Then you should try. to disable the tabbed broswing functionality in IE ("Tools -. -> Internet Options --> General --> Tabs --> Settings" and. untick the "Enable tabbed browsing..."-checkbox). QTP have some issues with the tabbed browsing functionality. in IE7.
