Sep 28, 2011 · My company is considering an installation of Oracle database on VMWare. I read some comments that Oracle does not alwayes support issues in the environment like this. Does anybody know whether Oracle supports Oracle database installed in VMWare or not in case we have some issues? Thank you very much.

When the customer can demonstrate that the Oracle solution does not work when running on the native OS, Oracle will resume support, including logging a bug with Oracle Development for investigation if required.
