Only this causes problems in combination with border radius. Border-radius by itself works fine in opera in the most scenarios, even with very thick border Fiddle-Example and also in cases with 0-border and one color. But I know that we all love this little dirty tricks and opera's a fun stopper.

Dec 04, 2016 · It seems that there is no fix for it, at least not for Opera. It will work in Firefox, IE9 and also in Webkit if you remove the position relative declaration. IE7 and 8 does not support border radius, so no need to worry there

Apr 15, 2010 · As of this writing, border-radius is supported in Webkit (Safari/Chrome), Firefox, and rumor has it Konqueror, though I don’t have a Linux install so I can’t prove that. That leaves Opera and Internet Explorer out of the game – I’ve heard rumors that Opera will support border-radius soon, but the latest version is still a no-go.
