May 27, 2009 · This happen to us as well I was able to download the game but not able to play the game due to the game card not meeting the requirements. This is very unfair to everyone and I think everyone should join together and request a refund because no where did I see a warning that I may not be able to play this game due to any Game card requirements.

To play SIM 3, the graphics card should meet the following requirements: DirectX 9.0c compatible card with 128 MB RAM (NVIDIA FX 5900/ATI 9500 or better) and support for Pixel Shader 2.0. Aug 30, 2013 · If you're running Windows XP, it should support DirectX 9.0c which in turn has support for even Shader Model 3.0 at most. Now the question is, what graphics card you're having on your PC? The shader versions are tied to DirectX on your PC which is in turn tied to the video card of your system.
