Apr 27, 2012 · The BIOS has an option called "LAN BOOT". This usually means PXE booting in most BIOS'. But for the life of me I can not get it to work. Both NIC's are set to "ENABLED" yet I can never get a link light on either at launch nor does a boot to NIC option show up on the F11 menu.

Aug 04, 2018 · This is where you will know if the motherboard is UEFI or BIOS. If this looks too complicated, we have another alternative that you could try. This will be faster. Just open Run and type the command MSINFO32. When you do this, System Information will open up. Here, under System Summary, you will be able to find out whether it is BIOS or UEFI.

The BIOS does not support network boot, and cannot be upgraded. I need to install a fresh OS on it. Is there anything I can install (or better, a live CD I can boot from), that would enable me to perform a once-only PXE-boot to load one of our standard OS images on the server? Oct 10, 2015 · Does my PC support UEFI? I have Windows 10, My bios is in Legacy right now but I don't know how to check is my pc can support UEFI. I read that if you go to C:\Windows\Boot and have a folder labelled EFI then yes your pc supports UEFI?
