Apr 30, 2018 · My DVD RW drive(E) doesn't recognize or read any disc inserted. I have an HP desktop with Windows Vista home premium. I used to be able to play CDs & DVDs as well as burn discs on it. Now it won't read anything not even program discs. this happened a while back & I never figured out the problem so I just gave up.
