    Aug 03, 2007 · I have decided to wait for OS X Leopard to come out first. I have several external USB hard drives, some of which are formatted in the NTFS file system. From what I have looked up, OS X can read and write to FAT32 drives, but only read (not write) NTFS drives.

    Dec 04, 2007 · Leopard (or pretty much any OSX version) supports Reading NTFS out of the box. It's writing that is not supported. There is a new driver that has been discussed here on Mac Forums that gives OSX full Write ability with NTFS also. Do a search for NTFS and it should come up. Think it's called Paragon.     Oct 20, 2009 · I am newly installing NTFS-3G on my system running Snow Leopard. After rebooting there is no NTFS option for formatting in Disk Utility. Only the standard Mac default options and FAT. I uninstalled and re-installed again. Rebooted again with the same result. Does anyone know what might be wrong? Steve
