Oct 01, 2008 · No. No, it is not. I am not sure that Apple Mail can handle TLS. TLS is the follow-on or replacement for SSL. But, when I see SSL as an option with no explanation, it doesn't make me feel comfortable that the SSL option of Mail will support TLS 1.0 servers.

As far as i remember, Office 2001 introduced and included Entourage. Outlook was not included in Office 2001. If you are talking about Outlook 2011, then check your configuration settings for Outgoing Server (SMTP), Check the provided server name, SPA, TLS/SSL and port settings.

Sep 29, 2015 · Once I disable TLS 1.0, Entourage 2008, Outlook 2011, Outlook 15, Safari 5 stop working. With TLS 1.0 disabled Chrome 41 under 10.6 & Yosemite and Apple Mail 8.2 work. Feb 17, 2011 · So basically it seems that despite telling the recieve connector to use TLS as an available security mechanism (within the authentication menu TAB' the TLS service is not responding which is why Live Mail tells me the 'server does not support an ssl connection' Is it perhaps an issue further back in some configuration somewhere?

May 17, 2004 · Neither TLS or SSL support in M1 seems to work with M$ Entourage. I tested it with Thunderbird and it worked okay. Not sure why. I'll test it with outlook soon, but most problems with Entourage are also problems with Outlook/Win32 and oddly the Mac mail client as well.

Jan 22, 2010 · Has support for Entourage EWS 2008 been silently dropped from the service. I can no longer find any documentation related to this in any of the forums or blogs and I am no longer able to connect any users to a hosted Exchange server through this client.
