Apr 20, 2012 · No, the DS does not support anything other than WEP encryption unfortunately. It simply will not work with WPA/WPA2. You can either switch your router to WEP temporarily, which is annoying and sounds like not really an option with your roommates, or set up a second connection.

Feb 11, 2013 · As for hacking the R4 or the DS/DSlite to use other than WEP good luck with that unless you work directly for nintendo and know the in's and out's of how they programmed it .... and even then IF the hardware supports it too again NOT A CHANCE!

May 15, 2017 · The problem is that my games only support WEP and my box is in WPA and I don't want to switch to WEP because it is less secure, I just want to use it from time to time with my DS. Do you have a free software to use my PC (Windows 10) as a WEP access point or other solutions?
