1390 WLAN card won't connect using WPA security I've seen some similar posts regarding this, but wantd to open a new post to make sure I'm getting the latest info. I have just purchased a Latitude D630 (Windows XP), which has the Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN mini-card installed.

Dell 1390 card and WPA I've seen a few posts lately about people having problems connected to networks running WPA if they have the Dell Wireless 1390 card. Considering how many of these I've seen in the last week, I wanted to try and collect some information about what systems are seeing the problem, and whether anyone has managed to fix things.

Dec 28, 2007 · Trophy Points: 5. Does the Dell/Broadcom 1390 Wireless card (shipped with my Vostro 1500) support WPA2 encryption? I'm confused because Dell's 1390 product page *and* the Dell WLAN Utility's help files both refer to WPA2 support but it doesn't seem to work.
