Hi whilst understanding your comments you have to remember you are dealing with a retail home broadband provider hence a plug and play router I would say you could ask over 90% of users what VPN was they would not have a clue however if you were dealing either with bt business broadband or isp's that tend to have a higher business based customers then you would get tech support for VPN
