Oct 03, 2013 · I pre-ordered Bioshock 2, and when I unlocked it, day one, I could not believe that the controller wasn't supported. At the 2K forums we started a massive petetion (remember that), but 2K finally just said no. Okay, so a pretty damned good reason to return to the game then.

Oct 23, 2013 · I have controller support for a game I've been waiting to play and I'm happy. I think with them removing GFWL, it gave them a reason to go on and add a much requested feature, seeing as they were mucking about with the game anyway.

Feb 10, 2010 · If you're playing BioShock 2 on the PC, don't expect to be using a controller -- the game simply doesn't support it. And the Internet is not happy about the decision. In a 14-paged (at the time of this writing) thread on the official 2K forums, many PC gamers are voicing disappointment over the lack of support.

There is no gamepad support in this game. I can't believe they took it out when it was in Bioshock 1 and worked so well.

Jul 11, 2015 · But I recommend you get used to the mouse and keyboard for this game. I think usually for FPS games the controller won't be good enough to aim at targets and switch from plasmids to weapons, which you can do by right clicking the mouse. Also, hacking the machines is nearly impossible using the controller.
