Pipelining is also called pipeline processing. (2) A similar technique used in DRAM, in which the memory loads the requested memory contents into a small cache composed of SRAM and then immediately begins fetching the next memory contents. This creates a two-stage pipeline, where data is read from or written to SRAM in one stage, and data is read from or written to memory in the other stage.

I agree that the 8051 is still popular. However, (a) the original non-pipelined 8051s are no longer manufactured -- Intel no longer manufactures any 8051 (neither does AMD), and (b) I've been told that the Dallas/Maxim 8051 derivatives are pipelined -- that's why they are advertised as "12 times faster".

Aug 25, 2006 · But for single byte instructions it does pipelining, while executing currently fetched and decoded instuction it fetches next instruction to be executed. It you try to write verilog code for 8085 you will get this concept. Or you can check gl85 vhdl code for 8085! I …

In the present work it is chosen that microcontroller will be Intel 8051 based. 2.1 Pipelining in general The idea of pipelining is to split up the functions in more subfunctions [1]. The hardware used to evaluate such a subfunction is called a stage. This hardware normally does not contain any memory. Between the stages registers are included to

Embedded C interview questions on what is instruction pipelining and the answer is Pipelining is an architecture, in which a sequence of functional units ("stages"), which performs a task in several steps, likes an assembly line in a factory. Each functional unit takes inputs and produces outputs, which are stored in its output buffer.

A micro controller is an integrated circuit or a chip with a processor and other support devices like program memory, data memory, I/O ports, serial communication interface etc integrated together. Unlike a microprocessor (ex: Intel 8085), a microcontroller does not require any external interfacing of support devices.Intel 8051 is the most popular microcontroller ever produced in the world market.
