Dec 22, 2009 · Generically speaking, yes, 802.11b supports WPA/WPA2. There is no reason that 802.11b and WPA/WPA2 are incompatible. However, many 802.11b devices support only WEP or WEP and WPA because their limited processing power prevents AES-CCMP (WPA2).
