Seriously not happy. Have spent 3 days trying to install Windows Server 2008 R2 onto a HP Proliant Microserver (Gen8) with a SSD in the CD/DVD SATA port on the board (the four bays will be used for HDD with data only on) and no matter what way I try to install it, it consistently fails.

HP Proliant DL560 G1 and VMWare ESX/ESXI - Need to know what is a supported version I can install. I have an HP Proliant DL560 G1 and can't get it to boot up to 5.0 and 5.1 for a fresh install. I read somewhere that the latest version it will run is 3.0, but I can't confirm this nor can I find a trial version of 3.0 to install for my lab.
