Hi. No DL380 G4 is not certified for windows 2008 r2 by HP. Only windows 2008 . check the following site for which servers are supported. To view older servers click the small "previous servers" link after choosing the OS.

Oct 20, 2011 · If HP said Window Server 2008 R2 is not supported on HP DL380-G4, you will get no support from HP if you do want to install Windows Server 2008 R2 on it.
