Apr 23, 2008 · “display: inline;” works to eliminate the double-margin bug because floated elements, by their nature, are block-level elements. doesn’t matter if “display: inline” is applied to that element. modern browsers simply ignore such non-sense, but ie 6 understands it. also, all floated elements should have a declared width.
