May 29, 2007 · Not only, as mentioned above, is your support cut, but let us assume that the other player did not move/attack your unit #1. The support is still cut because of the attack by your unit #2. Yes Virginia, you can cut support of your own units. I have seen this done during a game where the player who did it was supporting a supply centre of an "ally".

This is an important rule to remember: you cannot damage the orders of your own units. So even if FRANCE had ordered, say, A(Yorkshire) SUPPORT NTS-Lon, because the unit in North Sea is still English it cannot change the orders of the English unit in London. You cannot dislodge your own units, and you can't cut your own unit's support order.

Units supporting can be given support. If they are attacked, the support they are giving is cut, but they receive the support. Rules: Page 7 deals with this issue. Specifically, "A unit that is ordered to hold, convoy, support, or not ordered at all can receive support in holding its position."
