Mar 04, 2011 · hi! apparently that is already an indication that the harddrive inside is defective.. and there's no fixing it, sorry to say, as the zune suggested workarounds will is just a temporary fix. you may need to call support to check the warranty of your zune at this number, 1877getzune.

Mar 21, 2010 · I recently dropped my 30GB Zune and now the screen says "Contact Support 5". I tried plugging it into the PC but my Zune is undetected. I also hear a sound when I hold the Zune close to my ear. It sounds like someone is changing lines on a typewriter. Is there any possible way for me to fix this problem or is my Zune a lost cause?
