Dec 10, 2008 · That price is kinda pricey for me, but, i had a dell once upon a time, and only 1yr warranty. After the first year...everything that could possibly go wrong went wrong with it so i thought i might learn from that(3 yr hardware + 3 yr accidental).

Jul 26, 2007 · With a 3-year CompleteCare warranty, you're covered for pretty much anything that happens to the laptop. So if you were to drop it on the day before the warranty expired (accidentally, of course), you'd get a shiny new laptop with equal or greater specs.

Apr 24, 2014 · Based on a quick look through my logs of dell equipment failures the desktop failures don't seem worth the basic nbd warranty - of the machines that have failed we would have had to spend £175/$300 fixing them to be worth the price of the warranty on each one as we've had less than 5% with a hardware failure in the last 3 years.
