I have a beamer .tex file which I know works perfectly on TexShop. However, when I texify the same document on WinEdt 6.0, the document does not display properly. No images appear, and anytime I try to scroll down the document, I get a message saying: MiKTeX Problem Report Some PostScript specials could not be rendered.

The limitation is that only one Postscript font can be active for a plot, so text strings that require a mixture of standard and Greek characters are not practical with this method. DATAPLOT does not support automatically switching to the symbol font when a Greek character (e.g., ALPH(), BETA()) is encountered in the text string.

My ultimate goal is to determine whether a printer has Postscript support or not, if it doesn't convert the Postscript to JPG (loss in resolution, but the source does have images) and print that. If you have any suggestions for printing a Postscript file to a non-Postscript-capable printer, I'd love to hear it!
