Jan 14, 2015 · vPC on Cisco Nexus 3548 switches does not support PIM BIDR. To stop IGMP OIFS from timing out periodically, remove the BIDR configuration from vPC peer switches (See CSCun11362). Although the PTP feature is not supported in Cisco NX-OS Release 5.0(3)A1(1), it does not show as incompatible when you run the show incompatibility command.

Nexus 3548 also will NOT support vPC, even I do a firmware NX-OS upgrade to version 6. If I would like to implement vPC I have to change the hardware to 3064x,right? That is my understanding yes as i can find no mention of vPC's actually being supported on the 3548.

Dear all, I have two Nexus 3548 in a vPC setup, running NX-OS 6.0(2)A7(2) in a small on-premise datacenter environment. Attached to it are downstream switches (Catalyst) with LACP / vPC and ESXi 6.0 hosts without LACP / vPC (vDS in ESXi is configured with route based on originating virtual port).
