It is not advisable to leave old, vulnerable versions of Java installed, especially on Windows. With Oracle forcing you to buy a license for each machine you need Java on Cisco needs to step up their game and support OpenJDK or provide a version of ASDM that doesn't rely on Java plain and simple.
