Mar 24, 2015 · When will CICS Transaction Server for z/OS (CICS TS) V4.1 and V4.2 be withdrawn from support? I need to make sure that I upgrade to a newer release before the end of support (EOS) date. I would like to know what product replacement information is in the announcement letter.

Jul 22, 2016 · CICS TS V5 (all releases) support TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, and TLS 1.2. CICS TS V5.3 introduced explicit support for AT-TLS by becoming AT-TLS "Aware". So if you need TLS 1.0, you can get that with the built-in support for TLS in CICS TS V4.2. If you need a higher level of TLS, you should upgrade to CICS TS V5.
