It never ceases to amaze me just how many old Sparcs there are still running. I'm in Pennsylvania, USA. Its sunny (finally!) and 45 degrees here.

Red Hat typically is pretty conservative with the options they use I can't imagine UFS being all that well tested under linux but I certainly could be wrong.

I have an old Sun Ultra sitting around that I can probably connect the disk to locally and NFS over to the centos server for the copy.
