May 31, 2013 · WARNING: No NSS support for mDNS detected, consider installing nss-mdns! I am using avahi for zero-conf networking. I have cross compiled it for the mips. I am able to run it very well. It is assigning IP address automatically to board. But I am getting this warning when I run the avahi-daemon. I have searched the forums for this.

[email protected] wrote an adapter for FreeBSD that's included in the nss-mdns source since 2008, but it seems broken and he doesn't seem particularly motivated to fix it.
