When i try to open Call of Duty 4 on my computer i have a problem and it says: "Video card or driver doesn't support separate alpha blend, glow will be disabled." But then nothing happens Does anyone know what i can do to resolve this issue?

Dec 26, 2007 · Surely there must be a work round to enable the game to be played without the "Glow" feature or updating the GC. Anyway, I'll be on to Activision too. If I get any response I'll post it. Best of luck. Noticed that the Geforce 7 series cards are having problems running COD 4 as well - see post on 24th December. Now Im really scratching my head!!

Hi all! It's not due to the lack of support for PS 3.0. It is because the stupid Nvidia driver doesn't have OpenGL 2.0 support. Separate Alpha Blending is an OpenGL 2 feature.
