Aug 30, 2009 · Best Answer: Couples CAN actually claim income support (it isn't just for lone parents) BUT as spring said from the DWP website the couple must be: Sick/disabled, a lone parent, a carer or reg blind. In your situation you wouldn't be able to claim.
