Nov 20, 2013 · If DRM-free, try using the free Calibre software; much better than ADE except for lack of DRM support. If they are DRM books, does that bookeen support Adobe DRM ebooks? If they are DRM and the bookeen is meant to support DRM, try the older ADE version, much more reliable (see below). ~~~ There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0 (and 2.0.1).

I believe Bookeen is making a serious effort regarding better costumer support. I myself am experiencing serious difficulties to upgrading the firmware device (since the SD cards are no recognized) but I do exchanged dail e-mails with Bookeen regarding that subject, and I think the support team is trying hard to find a solution.Author: Bookeen

The Cybook Opus runs Linux as its underlying operating system; however, the firmware is open source but not the application. This could be due to the support for DRM protected e-books, which probably require third party libraries. June 2010 Bookeen published a much improved firmware.
