Was able to retrieve the phone book but all the entries were prefixed with a four-digit code. I exported that to excel, imported contacts from my old phone, then very carefully conformed the added rows to the shape of the rows from the enV3, including the 4-digit code prefixes. That I imported back to BitPim and transferred to the phone.

Jul 07, 2009 · The same with the env3. Make sure when the phone is connected and it asks to sync music or drop, you select drop. Ringtones go in the brew/mod/10889/ringtones folder. btw, People have also said that writing contacts with bitpim set to the versa doesn't work quite right and you may have to default the phone to get contacts to store corrently again.
