Oct 15, 2009 · If the BIOS does not support the current processor, the board will not clear POST nor will it boot to allow a BIOS change. EDIT: Some Dell BIOS versions will allow the computer to run anyway despite the the lack of support for a specific processor, but the processor microcode will not be updated.

They upgraded it free to a FX 4350 rated at 4.2 GHz but it is only running at 2.81 GHz now. Have sent them this boot message I get ever time it boots " The current system does not support the cpu.
