Dec 17, 2015 · Poison Support Gem First of all, the poison damage caused by the poison support gem is based on the damage of the initial hit of the caustic arrow. Most caustic arrow builds are built on cloud dps, and neglect initial hit dps completely. This means that your poison that you will be adding will do very little damage.

Split arrow gets a extra arrow at level 21, over a level 20, so getting a corrupted level 21 SA, is absolutely worth it if you can afford it - but its one of the most expensive corrupted gems there is, at about 20-30 exalt for a 21/20 corrupted SA.
