May 02, 2013 · I'm finding this absolutely hard to believe, but from everything I'm reading, Symantec Backup Exec still doesn't support Windows Server 2012? I just got done migrating about 2TB's worth of data to a new Server 2012 file server.

Jul 05, 2013 · A few things to be aware of about the coming service packs: they are all about platform support. The Backup Exec beta blog referenced above details everything that will be supported. There are a few limitations to the service packs: Backup Exec 2010 SP3 & 2012 SP2 will not install on Windows 2012 or Windows 2012 R2 as a media server.
