It can perform a symbolic debug on all devices with OCD with SPI, JTAG, PDI (selected devices), high voltage serial programming, parallel programming, and aWire modes, and supports debugging using SPI, JTAG, PDI interfaces.

Jul 18, 2005 · Using the AVR Studio Tools user guide would indicate latest information on supported device. This of course anticipates that you have the latest AVR Studio. The information in your link does not mention the new Xmega programming interface (PDI) either. Not that AVR Dragon supports this, but to me that is an indication of "old" news in the website.

Each supported AVR device has its own Device Connection Sheet containing all information required. There is a number of ways to utilize the prototype area. If only one device type/programming mode is to be used, the easiest and cheapest way is to just solder wires directly from the HV_PROG, SPI, JTAG, and VCC headers to the EXPAND header.
