Sep 22, 2014 · Having been forced to upgrade due to equipment failure to Windows 8 Feb 2013 with automatic upgrade to 8.1 last fall, I have not beed able to logon to work VPN using Aventail SonicWall Cache cleaner (applet failed to start). I use Norton 360 and Spybot Search and Destroy. There was no change in behavior before/after Spybot.

Apr 02, 2015 · I am having an issue with an Aventail VPN Client that will simply not connect. It used to work fine until a Windows update in February. HW is a Dell 15R 9530 laptop. Since then uninstalling and re-installing it has had no effect. Installing on other Windows 8.1 clients (post Feb) works fine.
