Dec 13, 2011 · AMR Wide Band is often thought to be undistributable due to licensing, especially for writing AMR Wide Band. Using Ubuntu, you would have to compile FFmpeg with support for AMR Wide Band enabled in configure, then compile Audacity against that FFmpeg. You should not distribute that FFmpeg build to anyone else. Gale

Jun 30, 2008 · Hi LRN Before your provisional fix for this, I got a null file or no export when exporting GSM-WAV or either AMR (no warnings). Now I get (AMR) FFmpeg cannot find audio codec 73728. Support for this codec is probably not compiled in. (GSM WAV) ditto, but 86049 not found.
