Jan 14, 2016 · I'm using Media Player Classic Home Cinema (MPC-HC) and Kodi (XBMC). DXVA Hardware accelerated video playback in both players stopped working since installing catalyst 15.7. Playback starts, I can hear the audio, but no video is visible. MPC-HC just shows a black screen, Kodi show the menu, and later crashes.Reviews: 35

Apr 09, 2016 · Hi, I'm facing a trouble with enabling DXVA2 support in LAV video decoder. I have updated AMD crimson drivers to the latest version available but still the DXVA2(both "native" and "copy-back") options of the LAV video decoder doesn't show my AMD Radeon HD8750M card.Reviews: 2

Jun 02, 2009 · To my disappointment, I found this (ATI does not support AVC with High Profile above L4.1) after I bought the card. All my encodes are done with L5.1 as my other PC is a Core 2 Duo which has an NVidia 9600GT. For some reason, the NVidia driver is able to support DXVA for AVC High Profile L5.1, so I simply assumed ATI would be the same.

Jul 29, 2015 · Hi, I have an AMD APU Llano A6-3500 (WDDM 1.2) which is newer then the Radeon 4000 series, yet the installation of the 15.7.1 driver fail everytime for windows 10 pro x64 and only the controlcenter installs. Now I'm left with the windows native driver which doesn't seem to support DXVA hardware accelerated video (crashing Plex).Reviews: 138
