May 15, 2015 · If you install PhysX when you have a AMD graphics card the calculation is made on the cpu instead as i understand it. I remeber when I had a AMD card and enabled PhysX in games, those games that allowed to enable this setting even if you had a AMD gfx card, the game would run would run horribly slow like Alice: Madness Returns.

Jun 18, 2016 · I thought someone bumped a thread from 2009 or something using a dedicated physx card seems pretty useless, almost no game uses GPU accelerated physx anymore and for the few that use I think a current single geforce can handle it well enough.
