Sep 29, 2009 · You can partition the SD card, and should if your running Cyanogen. Most peaople recomend a class 6 SD card. Part of the card would be ext3/4 and the rest fat32. If you do this you can run your apps from the SD card and have storage space for maps and etc. I am on my mobile right now so I can't post the links on how to do it.

Does android support ext4 for external sd cards. 64GB or 128 GB SD Cards come pre formatted with exfat file system. ext4 is much better and reliable file system then exfat. Android being based on linux should actually give push to linux based file systems isn't it? So any sd card received with exfat filesystem can be reformatted to ext4.
