Dec 28, 2006 · fanless agp video card that supports 1680x1050 im looking for a fanless agp video card that supports the 1680x1050 widescreen resolution. i just bought a MAG fp-2226afw 22"widescreen lcd ($329CAD!) and my current videocard doesnt support that specific resolution.

Unfortunately AGP is a dated technology and its a bit difficult to find good agp cards in the markets now. AtI needs to be commended because they have R600/R700 Cards which still support the agp specification. Depending on your budget, you can go with either the Radeon 3650, 3850 or 4650. Even 3650 will not have a problem handling your resolution.

Jul 29, 2016 · AMD has declined further support for these cards on Windows 10: latest AMD Catalyst driver developed for Windows 8.0 is not recognized in Windows 10 and causes crashes if I forced the installation with workarounds; according to AMD, in fact, only above basic Microsoft driver is suggested for windows 10, even if performances are dropped down.

I installed the drivers included in the box and the new one from asus site but the resolution 1680x1050 doesn´t appear.I´ve tried with plug and play monitor,predetermined monitor and my drivers monitor LG 225ws. Dec 10, 2008 · I would have liked to have stuck with ATI as I was very impressed with their HD 3850, particularly as it works with my rather dated, it has to be said, AGP system but when I did some research it seemed to me that the NVIDIA card was perhaps the best one to go for considering I'm gaming at 1680x1050 for the forseeable future.

I feel that these folks did us a huge dis-service by putting out these AGP cards with the promise of HDMI audio, but then have them limited to working on a few specific hardware/firmware implementations. Nov 25, 2017 · The SiS graphics chip on board can support 1280x960 while the AMD 4670 card with 1GB memory can support 1680x1050. I have checked the bios and there isn't an option to disable the onboad graphics chip. Yet I think the onboard graphics chip has been disabled when there is an add-on graphics card.
