Nov 16, 2010 · The problem actually lies in [b]ata1.00: ACPI _SDD failed (AE 0x5)[/b] and [b]failed to recover some devices, retrying in 5 secs[/b] and this is causing the 10s delay. I am aware that this is a kernel bug with libata that is unable to fetch ATA ACPI information.
